Metal Mosaic Bistro Patio Set with 2 Folding Chairs – Outdoor Garden Table & Chair Set
Great pen!! Once you figure out the pieces it was easy to set up. They’re all numbered and i recommend laying them out in piles by number before starting. Saved me a lot of time. Some of the buttons in the tubes were pressed in or not sticking out of the holes, just had to maneuver them into place. I didn’t run into the issue some did with running out of or barely having enough wire. I had plenty to spare once done. Probably depends on how you cut it. I’ll share what i did and maybe will help some people. I pre cut the pieces of wire and did the sides per panel. So 3 pieces per side. Roll it out length wise and just cut the extra height off once you attach it. The back i did in one solid piece. There is a small hole at the top if you do this but i just made the length of the roof pieces long enough to fold down and attach to the top of that panel. The roof i rolled out in 2 pieces and ran them long ways. Measures about 20ft. its tall enough to overlap in the middle by a few inches and still have plenty of wire to fold down over the sides to attach to the side panel wire or zip tie to the poles. i used one of the scrap pieces from the side panel to cover the door. Then did 2 pieces for the front of the coop securing them to the door frame poles. The frame is light and easy to move. The tarp is meh. cheap. but more marketed as a sun shade anyway.Zip ties are cheap. I used them as temporary place holders while setting it up. Used heavier duty zip ties for the more permanent ones. Latch is ok. it’s not thick metal, but does work and latch if set up properly. You have to cut the wire around the pole from the front panel so it will latch down in place. There is a gap around the door of about 2″. It’s not that bad and i just let the door wire overhang those areas so it’s covered. Overall, i like this pen. It’s a great size.I love the domed top, gives more head room. I didn’t use the tent spike things on the feet, our soil is too soft for that. I just laid block all around the perimeter to keep things from trying to dig under. If you’re wondering, it takes 46 4x8x16″ cement blocks to go all the way around. Looks nice and fills the gap between the ground and the bottom frame. Hope this helps anyone looking to set this pen up. My chickens love it! [...]
