This is a USA made colostrum supplement in powder form that has all the proper approvals and specs to be considered a safe product for your pet. I would say this is in the middle of the road for price, but the quality seems high judging by the consistency, smell, and taste, (yes, I tasted it, not my cup of tea, but it tastes way better than a cheaper brand I obtained locally and tried recently, that none of my critters liked). The jar arrived well sealed with both a heat wrap plastic seal around the whole jar, and a seal under the lid. The jar was clean under the wrapper, and the powder seems very pure. This is a 2 1/2oz jar, which is a good size for cost savings without risking the product losing its potency before it is used up. So far this seems to work as well as I would expect from a good quality supplement, and all of my critters like it, but I do have one that prefers it extra well mixed in the food instead of sprinkled on top before she eats it. I have a small dog that is getting past middle age, and I want to supplement his immune system with this, which is something colostrum excels at. I also have a couple of elderly cats, including one that has had severe skin allergies his whole life. I have been giving all the of them colostrum for a while now, and the difference in the two older cats is absolutely amazing. When I first started the colostrum regime a while ago, it took less that two weeks when I noticed their energy levels had doubled, they were eating a lot more than they had been, and put some of the weight back on that they had lost when they got old. My older boy cat has now gone three months without tearing his skin open and bloody after around 14 years of constantly having self inflicted wounds from itchiness no Vet had yet been able to ascertain the cause of, and wearing E-collars whenever I couldn’t be around to watch him. I sure wish I had discovered this product years ago! I am 100% sure of the incredibly beneficial effects of this supplement, and I highly recommend it to anyone with really young, older, or immune compromised pets. If you decide to try it, I can recommend this brand as being good quality for the money, and it is US made, with all the right certifications. 5 big Stars!
